Hi there! My name is Jessica Collins and I am a senior at Cal State Fullerton. My blog is all about my life at CSUF as a transfer student and communications major. Starting my college career in the fall of 2020, my academic journey has been anything but normal. I started at Moorpark College as a film, television, and media arts major who just wanted to be a news anchor on national television. Since then, I have become so much more than that.

In the fall of 2022, I transferred from my small community college in Ventura County, California to the huge university that is CSUF. Now, I want to document my experiences as a senior for any other transfer student that is looking to go to CSUF. This blog is the real life day-to-day experience of a CSUF student that I never had when I was considering CSUF as a transfer student. I am a communication major with a journalism concentration who is set to graduate in spring 2024. My experience has shaped who I am as a person and now, I am so excited to see what my future holds in media communications.
